When I joined Traffic Swarm, it was the best thing I had done for my internet marketing. I have since received over 100,000 bonus credits (a credit translates into a targeted visitor!). Some internet marketers are a fan of traffic exchanges. I am not a big fan of them but I do use three of them for some residual traffic. One I do recommend for this is EasyHits4U. The main reason is that they have a 1:1 click to visitor ratio. Not many TE's do. They seem to be managed very well and their page frame is easy to use. People who have given you permission to email them so that you can market to them. It's called permission marketing. Well, if we shold build a list of prospects, why not set up a list where people have to pay to get on the list and you get to keep the money just for people having the right to sign up under you.
